We are so confident in the strength and durability of our sunglasses, that we back them with a 90 day quality guarantee. If you break them within 90 days, please send us a photo and a brief description of how you broke them to hello@shadeeyewear.com.au. Please include your order number in the subject line, or reply to one of our confirmation emails you have already received.

Please note, this warranty does not cover scratched lenses, nor does it cover sunglasses that were broken due to being sat or stood on. We trust the strength and durability in our sunnies 100%, so treat them with respect and they will last for years.

HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?

Our frames are made from a plant based material known as Cellulose Acetate. It is stronger, flexible, and more durable than regular plastic frames, and causes less harm to the environment, which is why we love them! They are more resistant to pressure placed upon the frames and can bend further before breaking. They are also attached to the arms with heavy duty hinges for extra support and durability. If properly looked after, our sunglasses can easily last 3-5 years or more!

HOW MUCH DO THEY PROTECT MY EYES?

All of our lenses offer UV400 A/B protection. 'UV400' refers to UV rays at the top end of the UV spectrum, up to the 400-nanometre wavelength. Our lenses block 100% of these UV rays, which provides you with the most possible protection you can get.

ARE THEY GOOD FOR DRIVING?

All our sunglasses have Category 3 lenses which are best for daytime driving conditions — any higher is considered too dark to drive safely. They are also polarised which reduces the glare!

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

Our sunglasses are stocked here in Queensland, Australia. Every order will be posted within 48 hours of you placing the order, and all orders placed on a weekend will be posted on Mondays.

Orders within Australia will generally arrive within 7 days, and overseas orders may take between 7-14 days to arrive. This is just a guideline and certain circumstances may effect these times.
